Thiruvananthapuram Regional Centre of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) is premier body of professional Chemical Engineers in this region. Thiruvananthapuram Regional Centre, established in 1984 is one among the 48 regional centres of IIChE. The centre has more than 140 members from R&D Institutes, Organizations, industries and academic institutions located in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts of Kerala.

The Regional Centre regularly organizes technical lectures, symposia and seminars for the benefit of its members. The Centre also promotes activities of the student chapters in TKM College of Engineering, Kollam Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), Anad, Thiruvananthapuram located within its jurisdiction.
